This Commission is authorized to oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and operation of public buildings, facilities, and property. The Commission meets on an as-needed basis at Town Hall and consists of three to five members appointed by Town Council. Members serve five-year terms without compensation and must be residents of the Corporation of Shepherdstown. In accordance with eligibility requirements, no member may hold any other public office—aside from notary public—or employment under the United States, the State of West Virginia, any county or political subdivision, or any political party.
