The Tree Commission assists in developing and maintaining a healthy, diverse, and beautiful streetscape throughout the town with trees that provide shade and evaporative cooling benefits, filter stormwater, and offer habitat and food for birds and pollinators. The Commission maintains an inventory of all trees on town property, actively monitoring their health and their care, as needed. They also respond to concerns of residents whose property is affected by town trees and plantings. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00pm at Town Hall.
