Minimum Qualifications

- Certified law enforcement officer in the State of West Virginia or eligible for certification

- Valid West Virginia driver’s license

- Ability to meet all physical, background, and drug-screening requirements

- Strong communication skills and commitment to professional, ethical policing

- Enforcing local, state, and federal laws

- Responding to calls for service and emergencies

- Conducting patrols and investigations

- Completing reports and related administrative duties
