Dear Residents and Business Owners,

We are pleased to offer our annual Spring Clean-Up service to Town of Shepherdstown residents and businesses. This is a great opportunity to dispose of unwanted household items easily and responsibly.

Key Guidelines:

Limit: One pickup load per residence/business

Place items at your regular trash site

Separate all metal materials

Accepted at No Charge:
Furniture, mattresses, household items, yard waste, and metal

Paint Cans:Paint must be hardened with Krud Kutter Paint Hardener

Fee-Based Items (Pay at Town Hall before pickup):

Appliances with Freon: $50

Tires: $20–$25

Televisions: $40

Not Accepted:
Gas tanks, fluorescent bulbs, construction debris, hazardous waste, electronics (except TVs), and unhardened paint cans
