The Town Council comprises of the Mayor, five at-large Council members and Recorder. All members must be residents of Shepherdstown and are elected to two-year terms. The current Council took office on July 1, 2024. Its meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at Town Hall (unless otherwise noted).
