Shepherdstown is seeking individuals to serve as volunteer members of the following Town committees, commissions, and boards. Please see the linked descriptions below for more information, including member qualifications.

As listed above, the Town is actively recruiting for the Municipal Building Commission—which is authorized to oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and operation of public buildings, facilities, and property.
Meetings are held on an as-needed basis at Town Hall.
Selected applicants will be appointed for terms of five (5) years without compensation.
Eligibility Requirements: All members must be residents of the Corporation of Shepherdstown. No member of the Board shall hold any office, other than the office of notary public, or employment under the United States of America, the State of West Virginia, or any county or political subdivision of the State or any political party.
